En Pointe’ dance school is an up and coming dance school opening in January 14th 2012. Classes are available to children aged between four and twelve years old. There will be many styles of dance being taught on a weekly basis including Ballet ,cheerleading, street cheer, gymnastics, Bollywood, freestyle and street. All abilities are welcome. Class times are as follows:

Ages 4-6:  1.30- 2.15

Ages 7-9: 2.30-3.30

Entry Requirements

The Edexcel BTEC Higher National qualifications are accredited on the QCF for learners aged 18 years and over.

Student should have one of the following:

  • 2 Passes at GCE Advanced level (A Level) or equivalent, with a profile which demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or an adequate performance in more than one GCE subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A to C

Introduction

Edexcel BTEC Higher Nationals are designed to provide a specialist vocational programme, linked to professional body requirements and National Occupational Standards where appropriate. They offer a strong, sector-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding.

The qualifications provide a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required in their sector and their national recognition by employers allows direct progression to employment.

As a nested qualification the Level-4 HNC is an embedded component of the HND. The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND in Business provides opportunities for learners to apply their knowledge and practical skills in the workplace. Full-time learners have the opportunity to do this through formal work placements or part-time employment experience.
